Is this PoE Switch an unmanaged PoE switch?
Yes. Reolink RLA-PS1is an unmanaged PoE switch, truly plug-and-play.
This PoE switch supports T-568B connectors and 8-PIN Ethernet cables. For PoE+ ports and Gigabit uplink ports, Ethernet cables of Cat5E or above are recommended.
Yes. Reolink RLA-PS1PoE switch supports PoE+ (both IEEE 802.3af and IEEE802.3at). This PoE switch provides up to 30W per PoE port and has a total power budget of 120W. If the total allocated power exceeds the budget, the PoE ports will be powered off one by one starting from Port 8 to ensure the normal operation of the switch.
The maximum PoE distance between Reolink PoE cameras and this PoE Switch is 100 meters for data and power transmission, whether for IEEE 802.3af (PoE) or 802.3at (PoE+).
Yes. You can connect your non-PoE devices to the PoE switch and it will not cause any damage to your devices. As an active PoE switch, Reolink RLA-PS1 can automatically detect non-PoE devices, and will not supply power to them to avoid damage.
