Can I use Reolink Battery Doorbell with my pre-existing chimes?
Yes, it works with your pre-existing mechanical chimes and can be powered by the existing wiring from your mechanical chime, which will no longer ring in such circumstances.
Does Reolink Battery Doorbell require a subscription?
No, you don’t need any subscription for using this battery doorbell unless you want to use Reolink Cloud services for cloud storage or rich notification.
Does it support third-party products?
No, the doorbell and its chime cannot work with doorbells or chimes from other brands. You can add it to some third-party software for live view, however.
Can I pair this doorbell with my mechanical chime?
Yes, this doorbell is compatible with traditional mechanical chimes and works with transformers ranging from 8-24VAC, and 5VA-40VA.
What kind of chimes can be added to this doorbell?
This doorbell supports both wired traditional and digital chimes. For wireless connectivity, we recommend using Reolink Chime V2 (sold separately) or newer versions. Each doorbell can connect with up to 5 chimes.
Is the doorbell compatible with Reolink Home Hub?
Yes, it works with Reolink Home Hub. When connecting to the hub, it supports setting up different chime tones for multiple Reolink doorbell cameras.
