How Can I Power the Reolink TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi Camera?
To power this floodlight camera, connect it to a 100–240V AC power supply using a UL-certified junction box. Always check local electrical regulations before installation. Outside North America, installation and wiring should be completed by a qualified electrician.
Can I Turn Off the Floodlights and Siren?
Yes. The floodlights and siren can be manually disabled if required. By default, both features activate automatically when motion is detected. You can also adjust the floodlight brightness and customise the siren settings to match your security preferences.
Please note that colour night vision requires the floodlights to be enabled. If the floodlights are turned off, night-time footage will be displayed in black and white.
What Is the Difference Between Spotlights and Floodlights?
Spotlights provide concentrated illumination for smaller areas, while floodlights deliver wider, more powerful lighting for larger outdoor spaces with more even light distribution.
Can the Reolink TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi Camera Be Used Indoors and Outdoors?
Yes. This camera is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Its IP66 weatherproof rating and operating temperature range of -10°C to 55°C (14°F to 131°F) make it suitable for use in a wide variety of environments and weather conditions.
Does the Reolink TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi Support Time Lapse Recording?
Yes. The camera supports Time Lapse recording and can save time-lapse videos directly to a microSD card, making it ideal for monitoring long-term projects, weather changes or construction progress.
Does the Reolink TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi Work with Google Assistant?
Yes. The camera supports Google Assistant integration, allowing you to view live camera feeds on compatible Google Assistant devices using simple voice commands.
What Type of microSD Card Does the Camera Support?
The camera supports microSD cards up to 512GB. For best performance, use a Class 10 microSD card formatted in FAT32.
Does the Reolink TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi Support Two-Way Audio?
Yes. The built-in microphone and speaker allow for two-way communication through the Reolink App or Reolink Client. You can listen, speak to visitors and receive audio recordings alongside video footage.
Can This Camera Connect to Non-WiFi 6 Routers?
Yes. The camera is compatible with older WiFi routers as well as WiFi 6 networks. However, a WiFi 6 router is recommended for the best wireless performance, reliability and streaming quality.
Does the Reolink TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi Work with Reolink NVRs and Home Hubs?
Yes. The camera is compatible with current Reolink PoE and WiFi NVR systems, supporting continuous 24/7 recording. It also works with Reolink Home Hub and Reolink Home Hub Pro for centralised and encrypted video storage.
