FAQs
FAQs for Arenti GO3G
Does the camera work with 5G/4G?
The camera only works in 4G networks. It does not support 5G, 3G or 2G SIM cards. However, it does not matter if you use a 4G or 5G mobile phone to access the camera. The camera requires its own SIM card, which is completely independent of the SIM card in your phone.
Note: The camera does not support WiFi connection.
Is the camera rechargeable? Is the solar panel a must?
The GO3G outdoor camera has a built-in rechargeable battery, eliminating the need to constantly replace batteries. The solar panel included in the box is an alternative method of charging the camera and makes it more sustainable. Please note that the solar panel is optional and can be used flexibly depending on your preferences and environmental conditions.
Please note that the adapter is not included in the box as the solar panel serves as the primary charging source. You can use any standard 5V/1A charger instead.
Does the CO3G support 24/7? What is the max length of video recording?
No, the GO3G does not support 24x7 recording. It is battery powered and designed to provide a good balance between battery life and event recording.
The maximum length of a video recording is 30 seconds. By default, the camera's videos are set to 10 seconds in duration. You can adjust the length of the video in the camera's settings - Alarm Management - Custom Mode - Recording Duration. You can also change the camera's alarm interval to shorten the time between video recordings, minimising the chance of missed events.
How long does the battery last?
The GO3G camera is powered by a robust 10400mAh Li-battery. Under typical conditions, a single charge will last for about 2 to 3 months of use (assuming 10 events per day).
However, it is important to note that actual usage time may depend on factors such as settings, usage patterns and ambient temperature.Â
Does the CO3G camera require an SD card or subscription?
It all depends on your needs!
1. Neither SD card nor cloud storage required: you can watch the live page, but the video playback will not be saved.
2. SD card/cloud storage required: you can watch both the live page and the video playback.
Note: If you want to order the cloud storage, you can view the package types and prices by going to: APP - Live Page - Settings - Cloud Storage Service - Subscription.
