How to Add Reolink Camera to Home Hub?
You can add your new camera to Hub/Hub Pro via Reolink APP/Client.
How long is the pre-recording time?
The pre-record is set as 10s by default, 2s~10s adjustable. It is recommended to use with a solar panel for a better pre-recording experience.
How to set up Pre-recording Mode?
You can tap the "Settings" button on the App, then tap "Camera Recording" and enable the "Pre-recording" option. And you can tap "Pre-recording time" to adjust the time according to your needs.
Does my camera support person/vehicle/animal detection?
Yes, this camera supports person/vehicle/animal detection.
Does the camera support infrared night vision?
Sorry, the camera does not support infrared night vision. Reolink Altas camera has advanced full-color night vision function, which can avoid the characteristics of IR light/white light visible at night + attracting mosquitoes, and obtain better concealment.
How many recording modes does the camera support?
The camera has three recording modes: pre-recording mode, continuous recording mode, and PIR triggered recording mode. If the battery power is less than 20% (adjustable), the camera's pre-recording mode will be turned off and automatically switched to PIR triggered recording mode.
Why can't I connect it to 3rd party softwares?
You can add a camera to HOME HUB to support RTSP. If this does not apply to you, you can launch Reolink Client, then go to Device Settings >> Network >> Advanced >> Port Settings to make sure all ports are enabled before using 3rd party softwares.
Can I turn off the spotlights and siren?
Yes, you can turn off the spotlights and siren manually. By default, the camera's spotlights and siren are motion activated: they will be turned on automatically when a motion is detected. You can turn them off, adjust the brightness of spotlights, or customize the siren to your liking.
Can this camera support time-lapse function?
Yes, the camera can support time-lapse. It can save time-lapse photos and videos to the SD card.
Can this camera support smart home like Google Assistant?
Yes, currently, this camera can work with Google Assistant.
What kind of microSD card can I use?
This camera supports up to 512GB microSD cards with FAT32 format and Class 10 read & write speed.
Can this camera connect to non-WiFi 6 routers?
Yes, this camera can connect to non-WiFi 6 routers, but a WiFi 6 router is better recommended for enhanced networking.
