Do I need a hub for the Aqara U200 Smart Lock?
No hub is required for basic operation. The Aqara U200 can be used locally without a hub.
A compatible Thread hub, such as the Aqara M100, is required for remote access, automations,
and smart home platform integration.
Why buy this as a bundle instead of separately?
This bundle guarantees full compatibility between the lock and hub, simplifies setup,
and ensures access to all smart features without needing to research hub requirements.
Which smart home systems are supported?
The bundle works with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings,
and Home Assistant via Matter support.
Will the lock work if my internet goes down?
Core lock functions continue to work locally. Cloud notifications and remote access
require an internet connection.
Is a subscription required?
No. The Aqara U200 and M100 Hub do not require any subscription for normal operation.
Can I still use a physical key?
Yes. The original mechanical key remains usable as a backup option alongside smart access methods.
Is this suitable for apartments and rental properties?
Yes. The Aqara U200 is designed for easy, non-invasive installation without drilling
and can be removed if needed.
Can I add more Aqara devices later?
Absolutely. The M100 Hub supports both Thread and Aqara Zigbee devices, making it easy
to expand your smart home over time. Third‑party Zigbee devices are not supported.
Shipping: All orders are shipped from within the Republic of Ireland with free delivery on orders over €100. €5.99 for order under €100.
Packages are generally dispatched the next day after receipt of payment and are shipped via An Post Express postage. We now also ship to Northern Ireland for a fee of €9.99 for orders under €100 and free for orders over €100.

Please allow 1-5 working days for delivery within Ireland but generally* you will receive next day if the order is placed before 3pm Monday to Thursday.

Returns: We operate a 14 day change of mind refund policy provided goods are returned unused, in original packaging, in original condition and accompanied by proof of purchase. It is our policy to return goods to the purchaser if we suspect that any product has been used.
