Vodafone Smart SIM Alternative - EIOTClub Ireland

Discontinuance of Vodafone Smart SIM, Impacts on Reolink & Other 4G Cameras and an alternative SIM.

Vodafone have announced that on the 31st of July 2024, they will discontinue their Smart SIM connectivity service in the Republic of Ireland & the UK. As a result, Reolink & other 4G cameras using Vodafone Smart SIMs will no longer be able to connect to cellular networks after this time.

As a result you will need to replace the Vodafone Smart SIM before the 31st of July to ensure no loss of service. You can replace the Vodafone Smart SIM with a regular Vodafone SIM card or a SIM card from another provider. A good alternative to the Vodafone Smart SIM is the EIOTClub SIM provided in Ireland by connectit.ie.
