Yes. It supports standalone operation with SD card storage.
1. When it works without an NVR, the recordings can be saved to the microSD card (purchased separately);
2. When it works with an NVR, the recordings can be saved to the NVR.
Note: For best compatibility, do not use the camera with third-party NVRs.
It depends on the bit rate and settings. A higher bit rate will allow for better image and audio quality, leading to a bigger file size.
Professional Series cameras offer greater resolution, storage, and security capabilities, as opposed to residential security cameras which only have basic features.

Method 1 (recommended): You can add this camera to the Synology Surveillance Station.
