Reolink RLA-PS1 provides a reliable PoE solution featuring 8 PoE+ ports (10/100Mbps) and 2 Gigabit Ethernet uplink ports (10/100/1000Mbps). Compliant with IEEE802.3af/at standard, it can deliver up to 30W for each PoE port and has a total power budget of 120W for at most 8 PoE devices.
Power Management: This PoE switch features the power management mechanism, so when the total allocated power exceeds the power budget (120W), the PoE ports will be powered off one by one starting from Port 8 until the total power is below the threshold that the PoE switch is capable of supplying.
Auto Detection of Adaptive Devices: Reolink RLA-PS1 will automatically detect whether the device connected to its ports is a PoE device and whether it needs to be powered. To avoid damage, it will not supply power to non-PoE devices.
4KV Surge Protection: Applying professional lightning protection, this PoE switch will effectively prevent the power of lightning strikes from damaging connected devices and ensure their long-term service.
Plug & Play: Reolink RLA-PS1 works perfectly with your PoE cameras and transfers both data and electric power, with only one Ethernet cable required. Easy to set up even for beginners. Designed to meet your different needs, it can be directly connected to your NVR for higher reliability and security, or it can be connected to the same LAN as your NVR to support more features of your cameras.

Can I connect my PC or other non-PoE devices to this PoE Switch? Will it cause any damage?
Yes, you can connect your non-PoE devices to the PoE switch without causing any damage. As an active PoE switch, the Reolink RLA-PS1E automatically detects non-PoE devices and will not supply power to them. To ensure network connectivity for these devices, the PoE switch should be connected to a router rather than an NVR.
Yes, the Reolink RLA-PS1E is an unmanaged PoE switch with true plug-and-play connection.
For optimal performance, use Ethernet cables with T-568B connectors and 8 pins. For PoE+ ports and Gigabit uplink ports, CAT5e or higher Ethernet cables are recommended.

What is the maximum transmission distance between Reolink PoE cameras and this PoE switch?
In Extend mode, this PoE switch can transmit data and power up to 250 meters via Port 1 and 2, fully compatible with IEEE 802.3af (PoE) and 802.3at (PoE+) standards. Port 3 and 4 support transmission from up to 100 meters away.
Note: Standard CAT5e Ethernet cables are required.
