Packages are generally dispatched the next day after receipt of payment and are shipped via An Post Express postage. We now also ship to Northern Ireland for a fee of €9.99 for orders under €100 and free for orders over €100.

Solix C300xDC Power Pack

This purchase was purchased not with the great outdoors or power cuts in mind but as a power source for front and rear dashcams. As we all know hard wiring a dashcam into your cars wiring system can be frustrating and the worry of getting a flat car battery, and the amount of time you can leave your dashcam running in park mode can be too short to make hard wiring any advantage when parking up for a long period.

So when I saw this Anker Solix C300xDC power pack I decided to use it as an alternative power source to run the dashcams independent of the vehicle. Also to ensure the Solix Power pack stayed fully charged I purchased XT60 car charger cable 12/24 volt DC and this plugged into the power pack and the vehicle's 12 volt socket. This 12v socket is powered with the ignition and only gives charge to the power pack while driving, so the power pack remains charged.

I have left the dashcams run for two days and the Solix C300xDC had still 30% Charge left. The App for the Solix does allow you to turn on and off the car charging port on the Solix with your phone, also you can set the Solix unit to power down after a set period to a max of 24 hrs or never but the unit will go into a standby mode if no power output is detected for over 2 hours.

I highly recommend this unit not only to power your small portable devices but as good alternative to powering your dashcams and is an easy DIY job. 5⭐️
